Pourquoi Pas B&B: Sark Sunsets, Sea Views and Space to Breathe

Tucked into the grounds of Plaisance, home of the internationally renowned Caragh Chocolates, Pourquoi Pas has gorgeous coastal views and clifftop scenery. It’s a 15-minute walk from the village and just a couple of minutes from La Grande Grève beach. Some of Sark’s most popular bays are close by, and so is La Coupée, the famous causeway to Little Sark.

Rooms

There are four bedrooms: a double with balcony and sea views, a family room and two twins. Rooms have private bathrooms, parquet floors, TVs, showers and hairdryers. Some also have baths, balconies or terraces, sea or garden views, or are on the ground floor.

Garden, terrace and pool

Spread out in the large garden, with its outdoor seating, picnic area and children’s play area, or soak up the sun on the terrace. In season, there’s a heated outdoor swimming pool. Pourquoi Pas suits families and weekend getaways, and the west coast sunsets are a good reason to stay up for the evening.

Breakfast and extras

A continental buffet breakfast is served with juice and fruit, and there’s an on-site coffee shop. Daily housekeeping and luggage storage are included.
