All Lorraine's pottery is hand thrown, using stonewear clay. The pots are fired to approximately 1300 degrees centigrade, which makes them ovenproof and dishwasher and microwave safe. Lorraine will try to accommodate all kinds of unusual requests so please get in touch if you have any special requirements, for example, personalized items or objects for a specific use or occasion. Each and every glaze comes out slightly different which adds to the rustic charm of the pieces. Hues range from blues, reds, browns, greens, greys and white.
