Money raised goes towards research into preventing cancer, spotting it earlier and developing gentler, more effective treatments. The event began as a locally organised race, founded by Danielle Barnett , and has grown steadily across Guernsey and Sark, passing £100,000 raised for the charity by 2025. Each year it also puts a different type of cancer in the spotlight, to encourage conversation about prevention, early detection and treatment.
This isn't about finishing times. It is about standing together, remembering loved ones and celebrating survivors.
Last year's Sark event, on Sunday 17 May 2026, raised over £3,500, a wonderful result for our small island. Let's see what we can do together in 2027.
